Today, with the revival of the Brazilian cinema, the country is recovering its importance in the world of the seventh art. We are proud to be opening a new door for the exhibition of these productions in the New York Brazilian Film Festival.

The Bronx Stage & Film Company is accepting short and feature film submissions for the 5th Bronx Independent Film Festival scheduled for June 29 30, 2007. We accept short and feature narrative, documentary, animation and experimental films. An urban theme or setting, particularly The Bronx or New York City, is desirable but not necessary for submission. Early submissions must be postmarked by April 30, 2007; final submission by May 15, 2007. Top film receives $1,000 cash prize.
