Founded in 1998 as a nonprofit 501c(3) organization, the Film Fleadh Foundation (FFF) has designed and produced the International Irish Film Fleadh (IIFF) film festival that annually provides four days of Irish cinematic culture to the New York City and tri-state region. Filmmaking teams from around the globe have just over 5 days to
make a short non-fiction film (4-8 min.) Hot Docs Canadian International
Documentary Film Festival will host the
theatrical premiere of the finalists and an awards ceremony in April. A
traveling showcase of the winners will play festivals and film series across
the world, a DVD will be released, and television distribution will be

Media That Matters Fest

Now in its third year, The Media That Matters Film Festival celebrates films, videos, and new media that inspire people to speak out and take action for social change. After our award ceremony at HBO on June 11th, the Festival will be presented in an installation at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theatre from June 13th-15th, 2003 in conjunction with co-presenter, the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival.
